Our Terms and Conditions

  • Quotes

Our quotes are valid for a maximum of 30 days. Any revisions to the quote by either us or the client will not extend the quote period.

  • Payment Terms

A 50% deposit is required up front as standard prior to any order being processed. This includes prior commencement of the design process. The second half of the payment is required before collection or dispatch of the item(s).

  • Custom Orders

Modifications to any custom orders may be accepted, however this is influenced by what stage the order is at and it’s recommended these are as early as possible after the order is placed. Additional costs and increased lead times apply for changes made after the initial approved design.

  • The Nature of Timber

All timber species can feature natural diversities within the grain and colours vary from piece to piece, and we cannot guarantee consistency.

It’s not uncommon for timber to split or crack as it adjusts to the new environment. These are not considered a fault in their construction and care must taken to placement of the furniture item.

It is not advised to keep furniture in areas of high humidity, where drastic changes in temperature will occur, prolonged direct sunlight and near sources of heat.

Timber expands and contracts naturally due to seasonal changes and changes in temperature and humidity. Some joinery such as mortice and tenon joints and breadboard ends are expected to move naturally due to this and are not a defect.

  • Items Made from Reclaimed Timber

Any items made from reclaimed timber will feature signs of previous use such as nail holes, screw holes, absorption stains and other signs of foreign objects. They may also contain historic splits and other imperfections in the grain, and that these will either be embraced or infilled with wood filler to a flush finish. Customers choosing items made from reclaimed timber must accept this disclaimer.

Most carriers assist with basic protection of your furniture with transit blankets. It’s important that you check they carry them and appoint one that carries and uses these for the transport of your items to add an additional layer of protection.

Although we package our furniture well, Insurance during courier transit is highly recommended against damage. We cannot be held liable for any incidents during transit.
